8th Annual WVCCORJ Information

What

Mountaineer Offroad, Inc., West Virginia's Premiere OHV Club, announces the 2008 West Virginia Children's Charities Offroad Jamboree to be held July 3rd through the 5th at Songer Whitewater. The event is to raise money for various West Virginia based Children's Charities that help those that need clothes, toys, necessities and more.

Various level trails will be open from mild to wild surely to give any capable rig a challenge. Other events planned are a pig-roast, sponsors raffle and fireworks.

Where

Songer Whitewater is nestled in Central West Virginia just off US Route 19 towards Summersville. Camping and Headquarters will be located at the main camping area and the trails are relatively close by.

When

This year's event will be held on the weekend of July 3rd - 5th.

Thurs : Attendee(s) Check-In / Rig Registration

Friday: all day trail rides, pig roast

Saturday all day trail rides, sponors raffle then fireworks to follow.

Sunday trail riding for those who would like to ride a 3rd day

Accommodations

MOR reserves a section of the campground for the length of the Jamboree at Songer Whitewater. Showerhouses and other amenities are available at the campground. Check out Songer's homepage for more information. Camping and lodging fees are not included in Jamboree registration fees, but Songer has extremely reasonable rates for your convenience.

How Much

Event Registration

  • Before June 1st - $65/person + a new unwrapped toy, Kids 12 and under are free.
  • After June 1st - $75/person + a new unwrapped toy, Kids 12 and under are still free.

What's included in registration fee:

  • event registration
  • 1 meal ticket for pig roast and breakfas
  • 1 raffle ticket for sponsor's raffle
